01 — CanSat
SPACE AC is Assumption College’s aerospace learning community in Bangkok. CanSat projects bring students into miniature satellite engineering and international competition. DESCENDERE won the Annual CanSat Competition in 2022; DAEDALUS won in 2026.

02 — Engineering
Each project opens a different engineering challenge. RADIANT connects rocket development with university collaboration. LORENTZ brought Assumption College to NASA’s 2025 rover challenge, earning second place in the Remote Control category. Students learn by working across disciplines.

03 — Near space
PASSENGER’s high-altitude balloon projects provide a route into payload development and atmospheric experimentation. A 2024 collaborative study with Assumption College authors used a balloon platform to study microorganisms under near-space conditions. Explore the linked research to learn how these missions support scientific work.
